I enjoy caring for the elderly. I love long walks with my dog and being outside. I have been caring for patients for 15years now I still find it super rewarding. I love travel and have valid passport. I have worked in mostly home and Community care for my career I have great understanding of client needs and how prioritize tasks that need to be accomplished. I’m married with a son and a grandson. My husband and I moved to Canada in 2008 after my husband received a job offer. In the UK I was working with children at daycare, Seniors and adults with disabilities. Since moving to Canada I’ve carried on working with children and seniors. Up until February the 19th of 2024 I was working through Alberta Health caring for a 97 year old Lady in her home in Cochrane Alberta. My role in this position was to help her get showered in the morning and dressed I would make her breakfast and do her laundry . I would read to her, mostly the Bible also we would participate in activities such as playing games or she would like to watch TV. Later in the day she would lay down for a rest where I would complete any housework that needed doing. There were times we would go outside for a walk or sit in the garden. I only left as she moved away with her family.
