My responsibilities have also included supervising the home, grocery shopping, meal planning/preparation, and pet care. I have a special knack for working with children who have disabilities, extending compassionate and personalized care according to their needs. My availability spans the entire week from Monday to Friday, during mornings, afternoons and evenings, providing the flexibility to adapt to any schedule. I have 14 years experience working with the vulnerable population, in particular, those with complex needs. For most of my career I have been utilizing my Office Administration Diploma and have been working in of-fice related positions where I served vulnerable Albertans with various mental health and addictions issues. My expertise in these areas mainly come from my 11 years of service with the Provincial Government in such areas as AISH/Income Support as well as Children’s Services. In addition, 2 of those years of service I acted as an Administrative Supervisor with the AISH program (Assured Income for the Severely Handi-capped). In December 2021, I accepted a position as Client Care Aide at the Centennial Centre for Mental Health and Brain Injury where I worked specifically with the Seniors Mental Health program, organizing recreational activities, and enhancing the emotional well-being of persons living with Dementia and other mental health issues. As a result of completing my Health Care Aide Certification in September 2022, I was able to move into a Psychiatric Nursing Aide position at the Centennial Centre where I currently work and assist seniors with all aides to daily living, feeding, catheter/bowl care, medication assistance (as regulated by charge nurse) and uplifting the mental well-being of said individuals. In addition to this position, which is regulated under Alberta Health Services, I also work full time as an Assistant to the Executive Director of Nutrition, Food, Linen and Environmental Services which is also a department within AHS. There are other areas that I’ve worked in as well which can contribute to my ability to achieve success as a Client Support Worker, Caregiver, or Healthcare Aide and you can read about those in my attached resume. I currently hold a position as psychiatric aide with AHS. I also work full time in another area in healthcare. In the past I have also worked in homecare.
