Seeking a fluent Italian speaking caregiver to provide care to my 92 year old grandmother. Caregiver must be patient, kind, knowledgeable and experienced in the health care industry. Required to work 3 hours in the evening Mon-Sat to assist with meal preparation, bathing assistance, incontinence, laundry, light housekeeping, and mobility. Vulnerable person’s police background check required.

Mom is a highly functional 96-year-old who is still remarkably proficient in many facets of her daily routine. However, she needs assistance with her medications, morning shower, hearing aids, and dental care before breakfast, and similar tasks at night before bed. More importantly, Mom will greatly benefit from having someone to converse with at the start and end of each day. She's had six children, pursued a career in medicine, and travelled extensively, and now, in her twilight years, she's facing all the challenges that come with her age. We are seeking a part-time live-in PSW to work with our client located in North York 3 days per week permanent position every Sunday 9 am - Wednesday 9 am. Ideal caregiver match will be an individual who is a self starter, organized, patient & empathetic with the ability to prep, cook and serve healthy meals, maintain the clients household and offer genuine conversation & engagement. A family in Scarborough is seeking a patient, caring, physically fit female support worker to assist their daughter who has special needs (both physical and developmental). The support worker will assist our daughter in her daily personal care and community activities. This young lady loves family gatherings, exercising, books, dancing, arts and crafts and bowling. The successful candidate must have a deep respect for people with disabilities and a firm belief that they are an integral part of our community. The support role includes (but is not limited to): *one to one personal care support, including toileting, manual wheelchair *life skills (gross and fine motor, communication, self help) *administering medication *proper nutrition (tube feeding) *assisting with catheterization *other duties related to her care This position requires good judgement, attention to detail around hygiene and the ability to follow exact instructions. We are seeking a candidate who is reliable and looking for a longer term commitment. Training will be provided to the successful candidate. Our daughter loves people and living in the community.
