Looking for a Live-Out Nanny for two children (ages 1.5 and 3)

I am looking to hire a nanny to look after both of my children (ages 1.5 and 3) MONDAY through FRIDAY in JULY of 2024. Care would be required for 20 to upwards of 40 hours a week, depending on a week. Typical work day would . A nanny might be required to complete some pick-ups and drop-offs for an older child. Other responsibilities would include: feeding kids meals and cleaning after kids meals; light clean up of toys, keeping the play area tidy; offering daily activities, such as play/crafts/singing songs/reading books; walking with the children around the neighbourhood/backyard. I need to secure someone by July 2024 and looking to commence interviewing in February. I am also willing to offer some part time hours prior to July in order to to the nanny.

Looking for after school care for three high energy boys from 3 - 8 pm. Location is on a farm so a love of animals and nature is important and is access to a vehicle. Single dad is a police officer and does shift work so flexibility around shifts required. Would be almost full time for the summer depending on shifts. Meal preparation would be helpful. Our current amazing nanny is moving to Alberta in February so we are having to find someone new for our two amazing children, ages 2 and 4. Our 4 year old daughter is in full-time kindergarten and our 2 year old is a very active/busy boy. They both love to play outside and do anything craft-related. My husband and I are both shift-workers and our shifts vary each week, so the hours we need coverage can vary anywhere from 10-40+ hours per week. However we are also very flexible with our schedules as long we plan ahead - if you need a specific date(s) off either my husband or I can take the day off work so you can have time off. We also provide paid time off over Christmas and at least 2 weeks during the summer. This is a great position for a student or retired/semi-retired individual. We try to minimize the number of overnight stays needed by managing our time off, however there can be the opportunity for overnight stays paid at full hourly rate. We have spare car seats so you can venture to the park down the road etc. when the weather improves. We offer $20-25 per hour based on qualifications/experience and provide regular raises if you are able to stay with our family for extended employment. However we understand that people evolve and move on to other careers/adventures in their lives as well. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to connect. We would love to meet you! We do have a couple of house cats and a couple of farm dogs (live outdoors with our goats), so being comfortable around animals is necessary.
