In search of someone dependable and willing to work less than 20hours/week. I’m a full time worker at KGH and my wife stays at home with our 4month old baby. Because we have no family in Canada and no support network, these 4 months have been overwhelming for both of us, especially for my wife. Our precious baby girl was very colicky through her first 3 months of life, which means we’re exhausted and sleep deprived. We’d be glad with someone to come twice a week to relief my wife for a bit. She’ll still be at home and our apartment is very small, so this person would basically just spend time with the baby while my wife takes care of herself. You could also maybe keep her company and get acquainted with each other.

I am looking for a committed and compassionate professional who, as our part-time overnight weekend child care provider, will look after my two children between the ages of 3-9 years old. The work schedule needed is Saturday mornings, mid-day, evenings and nights with Sunday mornings and mid-day. Though the days for overnight stays might sometimes vary, it will mainly be from Saturday to Sunday. No driver's license is required for this position nor will there be any need for automobile use. The ideal candidate will either reside with us (live-in) or stay with us only during working hours (live-out). I require a female caregiver, preferably with experiences in handling kids aged between 4-6. Basic responsibilities would include light housekeeping duties, preparing meals for the kids and keeping the kitchen tidy. Apart from these, occasional duties during the daytime might also be required. The role involves working 20 to 30 hours a week and the preferred start date is immediate. This will be a great opportunity for childcare professionals seeking to expand their experiences with children in a nurturing home environment. We live close to the beach, so most days you'll pack a bag and take them outside to play. Nanny must be able to follow a routine, encourage positive behavior and implement educational activities at home. The boys are very helpful, and being able to delegate tasks in creative ways is important. Limited electronics, and only when they've finished needed tasks. French language speaking is preferred as the boys are in French Immersion. Work hours would be Monday-Friday 8-5pm
