Hello, My name is Nicole and I am interested in caring for kids in my spare time, I love to read, go for walks, go on new adventures and always have a full schedule. I enjoy sports such as volleyball, soccer, softball and other minor activities. I attend high school until 2:10pm and am free after that, I am also free on weekends. I occasionally care for 2 kids on the weekends between the ages of 3 and 6, I enjoy spending time with them as well as tidying up after they have fallen asleep. I have been a nanny for about 4 years. I love being a nanny. Creating relationships with kids and watching them learn and grow is an absolute joy. I have plenty of experience with all ages and have taken care of up to 7 kids at a time. I have taken Childhood Health, Safety and Nutrition and also have my babysitting course through the red cross which includes first aid and CPR. I also took some lifeguard training. With the kids I have now we regularly go to Strong Start, the library, play groups and tumble bums for the occasional treat. I have babysat for families for up to 12 hours at a time. I have had weekly and even daily jobs in the past and would love to supply you with references at your request. At age 11, I volunteered in the nursery (0-24months) at my church, and also taught Jr. Sunday School for ages 2-3. I was successfully able to entertain them for the time needed. I have had a few part time jobs in various places and have done very well in all of them. I was the main instructer of the nursery program at camp for a week. Duties included keeping children age 5 and under busy for 2 ½ hours in the morning and 2 ½ hours in the evening. Keeping the center clean between sessions and preparing activities for the next session. This job required me to think on the spot and be creative with what I had. Activities included: Singing, Dancing, Crafts, Playing outside and stories. For the past 6 months I have been caring for 5 foster children 2 and under on Monday and Tuesday and from Wednesday to Friday I have been with 2 year old twins. The foster kids will be heading back to their family and I have some flexibility and availability in my schedule. As I am not sure what I am looking for I am open to all options.
