Duties included, housework, school drop off and pick up, homework help, driving them to extra curricular activities, taking them to scheduled appointments when parents not available, parks and beaches, weekend over night care (parents would go out of town for events), pet care etc. Nannied for a family with one son, aged 1.5 for 1 year. Duties included: cooking and serving lunch, outside play everyday (parks, beach, trail walks etc) driving to activities like strong start or community centre activities, reading, painting and engaging play and nap times etc. Currently working a part time nanny position with a family of 2 boys, aged 8 and 12. Current position hours are: 2-5:30 Monday to Friday. These hours are for school year only. Pro-D days and some holiday days, I will work full time hours: 8-5:30 Monday to Friday. As well as in the summer. Position is based in Kaleden in their home. I do after school pick up, starting with the youngest at Kaleden elementary school for 2:23 pm and then drive to Penticton where I pick up the oldest at Skaha Lake Middle School for 2:55. Monday, Wednesday and Friday we typically go back to their home right after school pick up, and on Tuesday and Thursday we stay in town until 4, where the youngest attends Taekwondo until 5pm at Queens Park Elementary. Can be flexible and accommodating as possible. My current employer is open to me having another position and the possibility of overlapping hours/kids being cared for together.
