I am currently pursuing my studies to become a children's pastor, a profession that I am highly passionate about. Working with kids brings me so much joy and fulfillment. Not only are they adorable, but their innocence and curiosity constantly inspire me. Additionally, my love for the outdoors and painting serves as a perfect complement to my future career as a children's pastor. Being able to incorporate these passions into my work allows me to connect with kids on a deeper level and create memorable experiences for them. On top of that, I am fluent in both English and French, which provides me with the opportunity to communicate and connect with a wider range of children and their families. This language proficiency allows me to provide support, guidance, and spiritual teachings to a diverse group of children, ensuring that everyone feels included and understood. Overall, I am excited about my journey towards becoming a children's pastor and the incredible experiences that this profession will offer me. I have done Sunday school for many years now, hosted kids day camps, been a camp counsellor, lifeguarded and taught swimming lessons, and I was a nanny for a year in my hometown until I moved for school. I love kids and I have experience as a nanny, taking care of children, cooking for them, cleaning up and making sure that they are heard.

Hello, I am Lauren . I am 20 years old and I live in Edmonton, Canada. I took an interest in caregiver services because I have a sister with Down syndrome who is also on the Autism spectrum. I want to learn more and show what I have learned from taking care of her. There are not too many experienced caregivers with disabled children, and I want to be included in this program so parents/guardians can have more options. Thank you. I have no experience working with children apart from my sibling and family friends. However, this is an opportunity for me to learn from other families. I graduated in June 2021 with a Diploma in Business administration at NAIT. I am currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
