We are going on a family vacation and require companion care for our mother. The carer would join us and provide support throughout their shift to ensure she enjoys her trip to the maximum! Our mom is a fire-cracker and enjoys a good laugh. She sometimes gets confused and needs cuing for day to day tasks. She occasionally gets up in the night and needs to be re-directed back to bed. She is able to do most self-care tasks with prompting and some support. Our plan is for 2 carers to join us and share this role. During unassigned time, the carer is welcome to independently enjoy their holiday experience. We plan to be away approximately 10 days starting August 8th.
