I am looking for a lovely, bubbly personality who would be able to spend 2-3 hours every couple of weeks (could be increased depending on how she enjoys it) with my grandma to take her our shopping or visit with her in her room/facility depending on what you decide. (She lives at Westhighlands Good Samaritan Society). She is a spry 84 year old that loves listening to music, singing, hockey, church and shopping. You will need to have a car with 2 million liability preferable. Also be comfortable to help her in and out of the vehicle. She will have her debit card however she will have a spending limit so would need to have someone to watch that she doesn't go over (remind her that she only has so much in her bank account). Would appreciate a receipt for the end of the year so I can include it in her taxes.

Most weekends client will go to the family home, caregiver is also welcome to join in family activities. The caregiver can work outside of the home but should be available most weekdays. There is considerable flexibility and the parameters of the job include cooking, cleaning, yard work and interacting with the client. The client is in a wheel chair, but the home is fully wheel chair accommodating and accessible. He is fun loving, intelligent, interesting and motivated. The companion will be expected to interact with the client and accompany him on activities outside of the home. He has a care attendant who works with him from 9-4 daily. The job will evolve and grow as the client improves and needs more social engagement after 4 pm, daily.
