Hello! My name is Pola and I am back in Ottawa for the summer. I have just returned from South Africa where my childhood best friend got married, and before that I was in New Zealand on a working holiday visa. I am living with my parents for the summer, looking for work to keep me busy. I have a job lined up for after the summer to go teach English abroad in kindergartens. I love animals! I have always had a pet or some sort of animal presence in my life. When I was a young girl I had my fair share of hamsters, alongside the family cats and dogs. When I was a tween, I had a pet rat, and when I was a bit older, I had my first pet snake. Currently I have a beagle that has recently gone blind. I am an optimist, extrovert and explorer. I love to go on walks, watch Disney films and read books. My favorite is either Harry Potter or the Midnight Library by Matt Haig. Fascinating book about the multitudes of ways one life can go. I currently have a blind beagle of my own. I have dog-sat a greyhound before. Have had plenty of cats, a doberman, jack russell, corgie, retriever and a couple of mixed breeds before. I have also had pet hamsters, a rat and a corn snake in the past.

I live in the Heart of Ottawa, I often help my pet owning friend with her Pug taking him to the Dog park and walks a few times a week, and pet sitting when needed. my animal experience: I lived on a farm a dairy farm as a child ( Manotick area) I have had pets in my Urban life as well .

my name is Keza and I am a 17-year-old woman residing in Gatineau. I have 1 year of working experience in pet care and I am available to start immediately. I am available on Sunday and Monday in the middle of the day and evening, Friday and Saturday in the middle of the day and evening, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the evening. I do not have the ability to relocate or travel, and I do not possess a driver's license or a vehicle. However, I am a non-smoker and I have excellent swimming skills. I do not have any children and I am unable to bring an employer's pet to my home. I am passionate about working with cats and dogs and I am looking for jobs that consist of drop-in visits, where I can feed and play with the pets, as well as dog walking. Some of the duties I am comfortable performing include taking care of senior dogs and other animals, providing daily exercise for high-energy dogs and other animals, as well as brushing their teeth and fur. Although I do not have a police check at the moment, I am a citizen of Africa and I am proficient in both English and French. My experience with taking care of animals has been enhanced by my volunteer and personal experiences. Along with my time as a volunteer with the Ottawa Humane Society, I have also looked after my family's two pitbulls, including seeing one through knee surgery. I understand not only how important it is to approach the care of each animal individually but also that they must always feel safe and cared for no matter the situation. I have always found fulfillment in being a pet parent and community advocate for animals and would love to translate that into providing your furry friend with whatever care that may require while you are away. I do not have any paid experience but I have been a volunteer with the Ottawa Humane Society for the past five years and have worked with cats in socializing them and ensuring they are ready for adoption. I am also currently a pet parent to two rabbits for the past 9 years and one cat for 11 years and have extensive experience in managing their complex care.

I currently look after a puppy and a kitten in centretown, I mostly work as a nanny but I am able to help out with schedule! I am crazy over dogs, I am in my 40's I look after about 4 different animals from different homes, have no problem with cats either, I am not allergic to any animal. We will need to talk about hours, I do currently work so it would depend on the time you would need my help. Thanks!
