I assisted her when she was still able and independent with the ADL’s (Assisted Daily Livings) such as walking with the cane, bathing, grooming and dressing, oral and nail hygiene, perineal care, and meal preparations. Caring adults/elderly needs a lot of patience, love and compassion. I always put in my mind their safety and reassuring security about their privacy, respect their dignity and preferences.
