My name is Thelma. I am a reliable, very friendly person, trustworthy, patient and hardworking person who has a lot of experience taking care of newborn babies, twins, and also elderly people. I have 4 children. I am a strict and disciplinarian mother. I love to cook and clean the house. Since 2011 all my work experiences here in Montreal are elderly care and housekeeping. I am currently working as a caregiver since 2018 for a 100-year-old lady every Monday and I receive the check from CLSC. Right now I am looking for a cleaning job every Wednesday and Friday. My first job as an elderly caregiver was in 2013 but it only lasted for 3 months because she passed away. She was 96 years old and have diabetes. The second one was a 99 years old man with no health problem. The third one was a 93 years old lady with dementia. Now I am taking care of a 100-year-old lady since 2018. She has a little hearing problem and a fractured arm. I go to their house every Monday and I receive the check from CLSC.

I'm Mhel and a mother too. Being with kids you have to be patient always but voice out when it's needed. Discipline them in a way that they will fully understand. I am a hardworking person. For as long as I know that they are happy with me to the fullest of my ability I will be there to guide and always open to share my positive ideas. Since I don't have any experienced yet I think there is no difference on both being on younger ones and to be with the adults. What makes me concerned about it is that you have the heart on what you are doing your enjoying yourself being with them.
