JOB DESCRIPTION  Provide caring companionship and the benefit of conversation to clients.  Assist older adults with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.  Plan and prepare meals according to specific diet plans and assist in partaking of meals.  Clean and sanitize the area after the meal and Change linen, ensure that rooms are aired out regularly.  Remind clients about their medication and administer medication if required.  Take and record vitals such as body temperature and blood pressure.  Accompany clients to doctors’ appointments and physical therapy sessions and support them during medical procedures. As a single mom with three grown kids, each with their own families, I have a great big family that I love very much. My daughter has two wonderful sons. My first son has a son and a daughter, all of whom are teenagers. My last son has a set of twin boys. I worked at VHA for over two years, loving my clients immensely.
