Mère de trois enfants et grand-mère de trois petits-fils, je fais présentement de la suppléance en français, mathématiques et anglais au Centre de services scolaire des Affluents et au Centre de services scolaire des Mille-Îles (Laurentides, Lanaudière, Rive-Nord), au primaire comme au secondaire. Je suis ingénieure et comptable de formation, détentrice d'une maîtrise en administration des affaires (MBA) et ai déjà été vice-présidente et associée dans un cabinet de traduction. My name is Daphnee and I’m 18 years old. I’m graduating this year from cegep. I love mathematics and science. When it comes to my immediate family, I have two younger siblings. They, unfortunately, face some struggles and challenges when it comes to their studies at school. Not one to sit back and watch them struggle, I endeavour to extend my support and help to them as much as I can. This assistance covers not only areas where my strength primarily lies - like mathematics, but also other subjects like French. We also develop good ways to remember the subject we learn in school for exam where your ability to remember everything is tested. I speak French, English and a little bit of Spanish. I never worked as a tutor but I have siblings who struggle in school.

I come from a big family of 5 children and I am the youngest. I am a proud aunty of 7 nephews and nieces, a great-aunt to 3 beautiful babies, and a godmother to one handsome 5-year-old boy. I have been surrounded by children my entire life and have been able to develop great skills with infants, children, and teenagers. Additionally, as mentioned prior, I worked with a telemarketing company for 10 years before deciding to change careers and jump right into this bachelor's degree. It was a great journey I had but decided I wanted to try a new adventure. This experience helped me develop great communication skills and many other skills. I am truly passionate about everything that I am learning and seek to make a little extra income to help out with the university expenses. I believe the best way is by putting to practice all that I am learning :) I am currently a second-year student at UQAM, studying to become an English second language teacher.
