Hello, I'm Danica, a passionate and dedicated educator based in Saskatoon. I am currently studying education, with a focus on early years. Children are my passion; I've spent over six years working in different educational settings, religiously practicing patience, compassion, and enthusiasm - qualities I believe every good educator should possess. My love for teaching and inspiring young minds has brought me into the world of tutoring, undoubtedly my most rewarding experience yet.
I am available throughout the week, including weekends, in the morning, afternoon, and evening hours on weekdays and mornings to afternoons on weekends. I am extremely flexible and conveniently mobile. I hold a driver's license and have my own means of transportation, which I can use to arrive punctually at your home for lessons, making your child's learning experience more comfortable and personalized.
My goal as a tutor is to help your child succeed academically, no matter what their learning style or pace. I can teach a range of school subjects including Mathematics, English, Literature, History/Social Studies, and Social Sciences. I am well-versed in the Montessori method and experienced in preparing young learners for school, primary classes, and exams. Moreover, I am quite knowledgeable in catering to children with special needs, ensuring inclusivity in all my lessons.
I happily work with children aged 3 to 15, tailoring my teaching strategy to meet their unique needs. My ability to engage young students stems from my own academic training in teacher education. Rest assured, I am a non-smoker and have undergone a police check.
As a Canadian citizen and native English speaker, I hope to bring my unique perspective to the educational experiences of the children I tutor. I look forward to helping your children achieve their academic goals and foster a genuine love for learning.
