Caregiver job in Warman - Reliable Nanny Companion for our Mom.
Mom is 86 years old. She eats well however, requires a proactive Nanny who will be able to give her breakfast, lunch and light snacks throughout the day. She loves knitting, artwork, watching a variety of TV programs and face timing with family and friends. Light house work would be appreciated i.e.. Dusting, Vacuuming, Villeda Floor Cleaning, Dishwasher loading and unloading etc. Laundry is kept up to date on a daily basis and Mom loves to fold. Sometimes there will be a need to accompany Mom for her medical check ups {with a family member}. Medications are organized by her pharmacy and easily managed. A binder will be provided to make daily progress notes. Mom is fully catheterized and Home Nurses come out from Warman/Saskatoon 3 times a week to see to Doctor's orders within this regard as well to as to properly manage any bedsores. Other than this Mom is quite healthy. She currently works with a Physiotherapist at home once or twice a week in an attempt to increase her mobility safely. Last but, not least, I as her primary care giver, live at home with Mom and am available to answer more questions.

Home Care provider - part time role

Looking for a well seasoned care giver to care for my parents who live at home. Dad is 96 and mom is 91. Both are mobile to a point and use walkers to help get around. Need help with the basics for now. My mom has a small amount of dementia but functions quite well just the same. We don't need some one each day yet and for about 2-3 hrs on the days we do need someone at this time. Expect that to change in the coming months. Lost of family support with myself and another sibling living in Saskatoon and 4 more in Edmonton.
