I live with my two adult sons, on our 10 acre property, in a bungalow, with our two dogs. I have not had any formal training but I have birthed 8 puppies, raised and nurtured them, shots and trained. We kept 4 and gave 4 to people we knew . 3 of the puppies are still alive, 13 years old and I still see them. I'm Grammy. I currently have a rescue husky, who was a bait dog for the fighting pits in Peel Region. She has been with us for 4 years and is now a fully blown goofy goober, lovable dog and well adjusted, except with bigger dogs and cats. I also have a Morkie, which is a high maintenance dog breed with skin condition and constant bathing and grooming. Stubborn nature but does well on the leash when out and about. I groom bath and groom her myself. I have owned a German Sheppard and 5 puggles. I have looked after sheep dogs, Chihuahuas, Chinese Crested, which is a hairless dog that needs lotions and potions along with clothing as sunscreen and sweaters for chilly weather, golden retrievers, black and brown labs. I have trained all my dogs, plus the puppies to go outside, walk together, share, and feel comfortable around other dogs. I am firm with instruction but with love. I am greeted by most dogs I meet as they know I'm a dog person. When the puppies were born I had to bring one of them back. I used Centrifugal force, and mouth to mouth to mouth. Darin ended up living for 11 years until he passed away from Diabetes as the insulin was no longer working. I don't have any clients but I have birthed 8 healthy puppies from my own dog and we kept 4. I have always looked after my friends dogs as well as my own. I currently have two dogs and have trained them to not leave the 10 acre property without leases. I have walked 3 dogs at one time in an organized/controlled with love fashion. I am the alpha (with love).
