I am 18 and the oldest of five siblings, I recently moved out on my own and have been working part time jobs, but since I graduated I would like to find a family to work with for the remainder of my time here. Part time jobs are good, but working with families and individuals is much more fulfilling for me personally as I get to build trust with the client and become a big help in their lives. I have always loved cleaning, I find it relaxing and rewarding. I found when working commercial cleaning jobs it is not rewarding cause you clean all day, but nobody even knows since 100 people are passing through and you are already onto the next task at that point. I don’t get to see my finished work, and nobody else can either. When cleaning residentially I am able to leave a spotless home for a client to enjoy. I worked for one year as a housekeeper at Ste Anne’s spa, a five star destination spa which is among some of the top spas in the country. I cleaned common areas and accommodations some which were rooms and some houses, as-well as doing laundry. I had to re-locate during a move and am now in maintenance, so I have experience In maintenance as well. I am looking to leave my maintenance job and become a personal housekeeper because I really enjoy cleaning, but I find myself always doing jobs that require multiple people alone, or taking on too much for the company I work with. I feel that working for a family instead will allow the job to be consistent, and allow me to not have to worry about a full team of staff that may or may not show up.
