Before I transitioned into my role as a personal support worker, I held several diverse roles within the same establishment. I had to make certain they were always well-kept, as they were often the places where residents spent a lot of their time. An integral part of my housekeeping role was setting up and folding the laundry, a task which required extra care to make certain that the laundry was not only clean, but properly taken care of, folded neatly, and returned back to the residents in a timely manner. Moreover, my duties extended towards waste management, which included taking out the garbage. Maintaining an efficient system for waste disposal was key to sustaining a clean, odor-free environment for our residents.
