Update, this husband and wife team both past away on 2016 Up to the present taking care of seniors Also working in Laval on the weekends 24 hours a day, for a lady that has Dementia.

I have 4 children. I am a strict and disciplinarian mother. I love to cook and clean the house. Since 2011 all my work experiences here in Montreal are elderly care and housekeeping. I am currently working as a caregiver since 2018 for a 100-year-old lady every Monday and I receive the check from CLSC. Right now I am looking for a cleaning job every Wednesday and Friday. My first job as an elderly caregiver was in 2013 but it only lasted for 3 months because she passed away. She was 96 years old and have diabetes. The second one was a 99 years old man with no health problem. The third one was a 93 years old lady with dementia. Now I am taking care of a 100-year-old lady since 2018. She has a little hearing problem and a fractured arm. I go to their house every Monday and I receive the check from CLSC.

I grew up in the Philippines living with my family, and move to Manila for study, and work. I've worked in my cousin's company for over 30 years, and half my life I was living with them, from which I got my experience looking out to a disabled person. I am single, by choice, because I lenjoy working then, and having a family of my own didn' enter my mind. My hobbies include reading books, playing with kids, listening to music, stories, watching tv. I am shy at first, but comfortable working with other people. I enjoy doing house chores. I love to cook, but no talent in cooking. I maybe look skinny, but i can do heavy lifting, as my job before reqiured heavy lifting ( boxes), lifting/ transfer my cousin from bed to wheelchair, to chair.I like working long hours, and you won't hear any complain from me I have a ( certificate) short traing in Red Cross' Manila chapter CPR/ First-Aid training course, but I never got the chance for renewal/ training because of the COVID 19 pandemic. I have no experience taking care of people outside of my family. My only experience was with my cousin. I used to drive her to, and from hospital for her check-up, pushed her wheellchair whenever she needs to move from one oplace to another. Accompany her for some shopping, and assisting whenever she needs something, or want something she cannot do all by herself.
