Th Hi there: I am a 57 year old lady with a keen interest in sports, animals, and helping my fellow humans. I have 2 grown children, both boys, living on their own. I am very proud of my boys. I have been a stay-at-home mom for many years. Prior to having children, I studied to be an Registered Nurse in Vancouver, and while I enjoyed the benefits of helping people, I decided that some aspects of that profession was not for me and left my studies. I was offered a wonderful job with Revenue Canada of which I spent many years at the Surrey Taxation Centre. I relocated to Penticton while I was on Maternity leave, and have been in the Okanagan ever since ( since 1995). I have worked on and off since then and have also looked after other children ( home daycare) in addition to my own. I have a level 1 coaching certificate in Baseball, and have First Aid, WHIMIS 2015, and Foodsafe. I recently graduated from Okanagan College as a Certified Education Assistant. I love gardening and music, and am a fledgling guitar player, acoustic and electric. I am an avid hiker, kayaker, and camper, and love the outdoors.
