Hello :) My name is Victory. I am African-American. I am a 17-year-old college student in my 2nd year of pre-nursing at Brandon University. I love crocheting, baking, and reading books. I am the last child of my parents, but I have many younger cousins that I have taken care of since 2018. I also worked as a summer camp staff at a daycare this summer. I love working with kids because of how fun it is to be around them, and it has been my passion to take care of kids as I would love to be a pediatric nurse in the future. Some of the tasks you can expect me to complete are making snacks, light cleaning, fun indoor and outdoor activities, regulating sleep-wake patterns set by parents/guardians and assisting with homework. I started working with kids by taking up babysitting jobs in 2018. Most of the babysitting jobs I took were for relatives and neighbours who lived close to me and whose kids were in grade school. I engaged with the children by playing games, working on puzzles and reading books with some screen time (based on the parents/ guardian's preference). I also organized and cleaned the home after activities by picking up toys and straightening the room. I prepared healthy, age-appropriate snacks (based on the parent's / guardian's preference knowledge). I bathed, dressed and helped with teeth brushing as part of bedtime preparation and assisted the children with homework assignments and special projects across different subjects. Before I left the home, I made sure I gave the parent/guardian a brief run-down of how the day went with their child. Recently, I worked as a summer camp staff in a daycare where I worked with grade schoolers and middle schoolers. My fellow daycare staff and I supervised the children by preparing day-to-day camp tasks, leading interactive sessions with the kids and providing supervision on field trips.

Hello, my name is Kayden ! I am a 19-year-old female student currently studying at Brandon University. I was born and raised in a small town called Garson, just outside Winnipeg. However, now I reside in Brandon during my school year. I have a passion for sports, having played and excelled in ringette, an ice sport similar to hockey. I played at the highest level possible for my age in Canada and proudly represented Manitoba in both the Canadian Ringette National Championships and the Western Canadian Ringette Championships. Service to others is a cornerstone of my life. After school, I spent countless hours volunteering in various organizations and establishments, including Ronald McDonald house, Children's hospital, Women's shelters, and soup kitchens, among others. I profoundly enjoyed working with kids with special needs, offering them the chance to participate in regular activities at a summer camp, and coaching our school's Special Olympics team. Additionally, I found joy in coaching children of diverse ages and needs on skating techniques essential for ice sports. I have six years of past working experience, primarily involving activities with children. My services are immediately available, and I am flexible, with open hours on Monday mornings, Wednesday mornings, and the midday to evening on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Note that the preferred living arrangement is as a live-out and I am seeking part-time work. I am comfortable and capable of performing a variety of duties including, but not limited to, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry care and even pet care. Working with children of all ages has been the highlight of most of my jobs, and I am comfortable interacting with children from newborns to over ten years of age. I am capable of caring for up to two children simultaneously and am skilled in catering to specific dietary needs. My experience, passion, and skill set makes me a suitable candidate for the positions of Babysitter, Nanny/Housekeeper or Special Needs Carer. As a graduate from high school, alongside my First Aid and CPR training, I have not only the academic knowledge but also the practical skills to ensure the safety, development, and happiness of your children. I can't wait to support your family and create a safe and engaging environment for your children while you are away. Kindly consider me for these roles, and I look forward to an opportunity to discuss how my skills and experiences can meet your family's needs. I have been babysitting for six years now and have certificates for child care and first aid. I have worked at kids summer camps and coach children with special needs in multiple sports. Currently in my first year of University at Brandon University.

I am a 40 years old woman from Nigeria and I've recently relocated to Canada, just about a month ago. I'm thrilled about this new chapter in my life, even as I continue to cherish my roots. I come from a warm and close-knit family, teeming with younger brothers and a smattering of adorable cousins. This created a childhood that was bustling with noise, mischief and laughter. Being the eldest daughter in the family, certain expectations invariably fell upon my shoulders. Some of these were born out of necessity, others were borne of tradition. It was a tacit understanding that as the first girl in the family, I was to embody hard work and intelligence. This unwritten law was upheld in my family, and I took it as my own personal challenge. Through this, I quickly learned how to navigate a variety of situations, including the art of cleaning. A skill often considered mundane yet requires a considerable amount of effort, discipline, and attention to detail. This responsibility taught me that every job, no matter how small or seemingly trivial, played a significant role in promoting wellness and harmony within a family and even within a community. This outlook has allowed me to view life from a unique perspective, and I continue to apply it in Canada, my new home where I am eager to make a positive impact. I am a fun and easy-going person who is aware of her surroundings and the safety of others. I always prioritize others before myself. Furthermore, I have an affinity for children, largely because I've had the privilege of caring for many during my life. I find joy in caring for children, as well as reading and teaching. I worked as an early childhood educator in Nigeria. I create a fun and safe environment for children so they can be their selves and have lots of fun I have two children of my own of which the eldest is 15 and very good in nature
