I am Francisca . I am originally from Ecuador and I am fluent in both Spanish and English. My passion lies in working with children. I worked as a physician in pediatrics and neonatology for many years in my country. I possess all the essential qualities required for providing excellent childcare, including patience, empathy, nurturing, attentiveness, affection, and a deep understanding of how to care for children in the best possible way. I am married, living in Metchosin. Most of my children are grown, with families of their own, with the exception of my 18 & 16 year olds. I love being a mother & a grandmother. Sadly, our grandchildren all live in Alberta. I miss having children around. I have many interests, hobbies and attributes that are a great fit with children, including crafts, gardening & cooking. I work as ECE/IT and I’ve been working in as child care for 4yrs, I really like taking care children specially for their development and creating bond with them. I like to go out like going to different places, go for events and sometimes volunteer. I’m a quite person but once I get more comfortable I will talk a lot and I’m also easy going. My name is Emma and I am currently a psychology student at UVic. I am focusing on child development with the hopes of becoming a child psychologist one day. My hobbies include music, art and soccer.
