I am an open minded, confident, and motivated single Mom of one. I am passionate about the outdoors and living a healthy, active lifestyle. I have worked as a professional educator for the past decade and when I'm not at work you can usually find me out exploring with my little man. Some of the things we love to do are hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing, camping and just exploring the natural world around us! 😊 I work Mon-Fri as a CEA and have my son (5 years old) with me half of the time. Ideally, I would like to work around my time with him, but I am also happy to connect and be flexible with what your needs are as a family. I value positive communication and know how important it is to have your children in the care of someone you can count on and trust. 💕 I have been working with children as long as I can remember! From helping my Mom out with Sunday school, to getting my babysitters certificate at 13, and moving on to attend college for both my ECE and CEA certifications. I have always connected with young children and now have a 5 year old of my own! I have worked professionally as an ECE, primarily with IT, for the past 10 years and am currently working as an EA with high-school students.

My name is Megan:) currently, I am attending the University of British Columbia studying kinesiology, hoping to one day go for my master's. Growing up in a large family has made me very familiar with various stages of kids. Growing up, I have always been super active, playing competitive hockey all year round and soccer. In previous years I won multiple awards in provincials such as MVP, dedication and leadership awards. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, working out and learning new things. Alongside my passion for sports, I have always been super involved in the community, from coaching kids in various age groups in soccer or hockey tournaments to working at the YMC in the summers. I have developed over time a great passion and love for kids and helping out with activities that involve children. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear from you and be able to show more of my uniqueness that I may not have included :) In the past I have had many experiences with taking care of children such as, a few years at the YMCA, a summer program with children ages 5-12, and many babysitting gigs. I’ve ran soccer programs for toddlers and children ages 5 and up along with many hockey programs as well.

I am a empathetic, compassionate babysitter with extensive childcare experience looking for children to nurture. I am incredibly passionate about children as the majority of my life has been surrounded by being responsible for them. I grew up with a low - functioning autistic brother who had severe emotional and physical disabilities that prohibited him from joining in normal activities with regular groups of children, so I looked after and cared for him his entire life. I taught him how to cook, bake, run, bike, hike, box, swim, dance, sing, do household chores, complete schoolwork, read, write, learn mathematics and sciences, and even achieve bold athletic feats such as triathlons and cross country races. I have babysat since I was six and achieved my certificate at twelve, I have looked after five children in one household, s all ranging from newborns to age thirteen, and I have extensive knowledge in meal preparation, first aid, and CPR. My first official job, which I still hold to this day, is primarily looking after children as a certified pre-competitive and recreational gymnastics coach; as well as organising birthday parties, games, and interactive athletic activities for all the children attending. I would be honoured to take care of your children in the nurturing and trusting environment of your home, and provide that same level of trust in our relationship as well. In addition, I am also an experienced, well - educated tutor with a passion for learning and broad background knowledge on multiple subjects, if your children require tutoring of any kind alongside caregiving. I am an exceedingly committed teacher with devotion to each individual student I take on, as well as a strong enthusiasm for learning. I am a high school graduate in the 97 percentile with a 4. 0 GPA and the Principal's List award for a consecutive five years in a row. I have been tutoring children since I was very young, first for my autistic brother, then for countless neighbourhood families, often while babysitting to incorporate a healthy environment of work and play. I have been a student teacher for multiple teachers across various subjects in my middle and high school years, including the grade 12 English graduation course, and prepped each student in my entire graduating year for the Provincial Exam and while ensuring every one of them passed with flying colours. I have mastered the three methods of learning, lesson planning, grading papers, editing essays, teaching individuals with varying learning disabilities, recording attendance, planning field trips, managing the class socially, and even instructing peers who were often two years older than me on my own lectures. I am highly qualified as a tutor to care for and nurture children or individuals of all ages and assist them in achieving all academic goals, without pushing them beyond their limits, and always encouraging them emotionally and mentally to do their very best and succeed. Finally, I am quite proficient in all household necessities, such as general cleaning, cooking, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, gardening, watering, weeding, mopping, window washing, bathroom scrubbing, laundry, organising rooms, meal prep, and baking. Due to the level of responsibility I was entrusted with from by my autistic brother as a child, I learned to complete all household chores while caring from him as well. I sufficiently prep and cook all of my own meals and have been doing so since I was ten, I clean the entire house top to bottom twice every week, and I look after all the basic necessities such as folding laundry, scrubbing down bathrooms, sweeping the floors, making beds and tidying rooms. I have been under the employment of countless families before since a very young age, giving me numerous experiences to practice and perfect my skills of cleaning, as well as prep all healthy meals for the children involved. I am accustomed to all manners of teaching and discipline, through areas bed time, screen time, and outdoor time, all to the parents discretion, of course. I am also a high level athlete in cross country, road biking, competitive swimming, MMA, and triathlons, in addition to spending the majority of my free time hiking, camping, and practising my outdoor survival skills; which qualifies me to take your children out on little adventures such as teaching them to ride a bike or go to the beach, all at your own discretion. I would love to be able to provide for your family in these arenas when you are out providing for your children financially, and give you all a safe and happy environment to return home to at the end of the day. Please see first paragraph for all work related and personal experience. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I understand that finding the perfect nanny, tutor, or caregiver for your family is like finding the perfect shoe; you want to last a long time, be of excellent quality, and most importantly, fit the needs of your family just right. I intend to be that perfect candidate for your family, to provide a safe and stable home for you children, but I understand that sometimes the needs of the family and the qualifications of the caregiver do not align. Therefore, as my starting salary, I am asking for in between $16 - $17. After a month, if you are not satisfied, we can part on agreeable and respectable terms with a greater learning experience for both parties. However, if you are satisfied and would like to continue services, I would like to increase my pay rate gradually until we reach $20 an hour, all event planning, account chequebooks, cleaning and meal prep, tutoring and monitoring, and outdoor adventures included in that rate. This salary request will, of course, change depending on the amount of children in the family, the age of the children, the tasks asked to be completed, the needs of the individual child, the behavioural tendencies and special needs of the child, and the special requests of the family (such as travel or overnights stay). I am more than happy to discuss these features of care giving at length with all interested families, and would like to thank you for reading my very long application. Please contact me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns; or would like to discuss my qualifications with myself in person. Please see first paragraph for all education and academic qualifications.

Hi there, I'm Brynn. I am a student at Okanagan College in the Associate of Arts program and have just finished my first year. I have a keen interest in all things hands-on and creative, such as painting, sewing, playing music, creative writing, reading, baking, and outdoor activities. When it comes to childcare, it's crucial to me that the children are comfortable and that we can have fun together. If the parents are out having fun, it's only fair that the kids also get to enjoy their time. I take pleasure in organizing and participating in activities such as crafts and games with them. Above all, I strive to build a meaningful connection with the children on top of attending responsibly to their needs and wellbeing. I have been a regular babysitter for three separate families over the years, starting in middle school after I completed my certification course for babysitting infants and children. Each family I babysat for had two children, ranging from ages 6-12. I assisted with reading and math work as a tutor, prepared meals, and organized engaging games and fun activities to pass the time meaningfully.

I am a mom of a 21-month-old boy, currently living with my baby and my husband. Happily married and very happy staying and taking care of the babies. My hobbies are just to be with family when have time, sit together, watch movies and have fun meals. Staying with my family is a hobby. I love taking care of the babies and will be lucky if I get chance to take care of others babies and will be happy to help mothers as I know help when alone with the kids means a lot. I know how the situation becomes with babies (mentally and physically). I will try my best to help mentally as well. I can do little household help and can take care of the house. I am a full time student and will need to spare time for studies and can arrange the shifts accordingly. I am taking care of my baby for last 8 months, all alone as my husband was working and I used to be alone at home with my baby. I think I know pretty much about taking care of babies. I have a younger sister as well and used to gelp my mom as well. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I used to work at a fast food restaurant for a year.

My name is Brodi, I was born and raised in Vernon BC, but I am moving to Kelowna early September. I graduated from Vernon Secondary School in 2022 with honours and decided to take on the life of a nanny. I’ve always been a bit of a child at heart, I like to play and get creative. I love doing arts and crafts and exploring nature. On my own time I enjoy drawing and colouring, crocheting, and going on hikes. If I was brought into your home for childcare, I would be able to provide, a loving and bright attitude everyday, i would offer a helping hand with mom and dad with chores around the house, I can cook a healthy breakfast, lunch or dinner, and I would always be there for your child/children. Please reach out to me if you feel that I would be a great fit for your home! Throughout last summer I spent my days nannying a 6 year old boy and an 8 year old boy. I would spend my days playing with cars with them, I would make them meals for breakfast and lunch, we would go biking or even go to the playground, and when school came back around I helped them with school work because they were home schooled for the first couple months of school. When the boys went back to school, I no longer continued to nanny then because their parents only needed me on weekends and I needed more hours so I began to work at Cactus Club Cafe. After working at Cactus Club Cafe, I started working for a lovely couple and their adorable baby boy, who was 8 months old at the time. I perform duties such as changing Ruxton’s dirty diapers, I prepare baby cereal and formula to feed him, I do the household laundry and dishes, and I put him down for naps and supervise on the nanny camera. Ruxton and me play games, read books, sing and talk together. I also enjoy taking Rux on walks in his stroller. I now work for a wonderful couple and their amazing baby, Goldie! Goldie and I go for stroller walks, we play in water toys, I push her on the swing, we read stories together and sing songs, and of course we play with their lovely dog Marshall . I have responsibilities such as, cooking her breakfast, lunch and dinner, changing her diaper and resetting her diaper station, folding her laundry, deep housecleaning, putting her to sleep, etc. Through this experience I have learnt about the joys of teething and how to safely supervise in baby-led weaning.
